Annual group walk - July 1998 - Edale
On the 12th of June there was the 2nd annual group walk. It took place in the peak district, the 10 mile hike started at 9:30am from Edale. The route took us up Win Hill where there was a chance to have a snack and chat up the local sheep:
After descending the hill, lunch was eaten at the Hope Inn Hotel where Tom even bought a round of drinks! After lunch we passed through Stanedge Edge and saw yet more sheep before departing for home sweet home from Hathersage station:
It seems the day's excitement was a little too exhausting for some of the group members:
